Experience the unsurpassed beauty of towering hills, native forest and a stunning sheltered coastline of Marlborough Sounds – accessible only by boat – whilst enjoying the thrill of driving a boat independently and in the company of others. On a trip with Water Ways Boating Safaris, dolphins, seals and blue penguins are regularly seen out on the water along with other native sea birds. You'll learn how green lip mussels are grown and harvested, and get to land and walk on beaches with Jurassic forests where there are no jettys or well worn tracks.
Your qualified guide will give you full instructions and remain in a boat close by. Learning to handle the boat is quick and easy for the first timer.
