We are a remote hide away at the edge of the world! Tui Nature Reserve is part of a 160 hectare peninsula in the outer Pelorus Marlborough sounds.
When you arrive at the wharf in Waitata Bay, we will have a 4WD vehicle or an Argo 8-wheeler waiting to take you up to your retreat at 180 meter above sea level. Its one of the few accommodations in the sounds to offer such breathtaking views!

Conservation Park Tui Nature Reserve has been a family run conservation project for the past 12 years; It is made up of 42 hectares, of which most are protected by the outer Pelorus of the Marlborough Sounds New Zealand.

Join us on a private Eco conservation Boat tour. Get a closer look at the stunning scenery and wildlife of the Pelorus.

-Guided conservation tour including :reptile breeding program, walk amongst 900 year old trees and regenerating native bush view wildlife such as the little Blue Penguin, Shag, Gannet and the tame Weka [NZ non  flying bird]

Eco boat tours from Havelock
Boat leaves Havelock at 9.00am and arrives back in the marina at 16.30pm

Experience an entertaining Eco Boat Tour to conservation park Tui Nature Reserve, on the remote and isolated peninsula o the quiet side of the Marlborough sounds. You’ll cruise through the bays, coves and waterways of the Pelorus Sound. Enjoy the rocky shores with its Shag colonies, and see Little Blue Penguins and Gannets abound.
A guided conservation tour among ancient native trees and regenerating bush follows a 4WD trip to the top of the reserve with outstanding panoramic views.
