Tui Nature Reserve Eco Tour

Experience a personal touch of paradise in a
remote hide away at the edge of the world! Tui Nature Reserve is part of a 160 hectare peninsula in the outer Pelorus Marlborough sounds. When you arrive at the wharf in Waitata Bay, we will have a 4WD vehicle or an Argo 8-wheeler waiting to take you up to your retreat at 180 meter above sea level. This is one of the few accommodations in the sounds to offer such breathtaking views!

Get a beautiful ride to the top of the park with a guided conservation tour, learn about the reptile breeding program, walk amongst 900 year old trees and regenerating native bush and watch the wildlife. You’ll cruise through the bays, coves and waterways of the Pelorus ang get to enjoy the rocky shores with its Shag colonies, tame Wekas, Little Blue Penguins and Gannets abound.
A guided conservation tour among ancient native trees and regenerating bush follows a 4WD trip to the top of the reserve with outstanding panoramic views.
