Join the Mail Boat, a vital link with the outside world for the Pelorus Sound community.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, a ride on the world famous Pelorus Mail Boat will take you to isolated homesteads nestled in quiet, secluded bays. Catch a ride and, as it delivers crucial supplies and welcome mail the same way it’s been done for decades, you will pass many mussel farms and see why Pelorus Sound is recognised as the mussel capital of the world.

The Mail Boat departs at 9:30am from Havelock on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and returns you mid to late afternoon.
You need to bring your lunch. Tea & Coffee is provided.
