Where do I find Havelock?

What can I do here?

Mussel Farm Weather you're after the breath-taking views of Marlborough Sounds, the scenic tracks of Nydia and Queen Charlotte, a 15 lb snapper on your hook or some of the world's most famous wines – Havelock has it all within 30 minutes by car. Spend the hours of daylight on tranquil waters or flourishing forests, and finish the evening with a steamy mussel chowder by the fire in the cosy and character-filled lounge of Ernest Rutherford's old school building; these days the Rutherford YHA Backpackers and Havelock Infocentre.
